The Banana Pudding Company (originally B’Samone’s Sweets, LLC) is the destination for everything banana pudding! Founded by Alabama native, Brittany Steele, in 2018, the company started in her home kitchen with a vision for a full bakery. After some personal setbacks, including the heartbreaking loss of a beloved family member, our dream paused. But with a little encouragement and guidance, we found our way back to the kitchen.
Inspired by our grandmother’s legacy and motivated to keep going, we rebranded and relaunched as The Banana Pudding Company in 2019. It wasn’t long before the pandemic hit, but we didn’t let that stop us. We adapted, found creative ways to keep our name in front of our community, and kept the love for our banana pudding alive.
Our signature banana pudding recipe is a cherished family secret passed down from Brittany’s grandmother, Nell Carter, to her mother, Bernice Carter, and now to Brittany. It’s a legacy that Brittany hopes to one day pass along to her niece and nephews.
Today, we’re proud to offer six unique versions of our signature banana pudding, each inspired by the people who made it all possible—our mother and grandmother. From cupcakes to cheesecakes, we continue to evolve and share our passion for banana pudding in new, exciting ways.
